The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
